Membership to the Prestigious Europen University Association

Yaşar University has become a member of the European University Association (EUA), which represents universities with its 850 members across 47 countries.

The Association aims to enhance quality in higher education and make sure that such quality is sustained in universities’ educational and research activities as well as their management processes. It thus employs a rather meticulous assessment process before approving any university as its member, and Yaşar University was approved as ‘an individual associate member’ by the Association after due assessment was carried out and upon the supporting letter submitted by the Council of Higher Education in Turkey (YÖK).

“Such prestigious membership is a significant step that we have taken on our steadfast way to becoming a global and international city university as it is already designated by our strategic plan,” said Prof. Dr. Cemali Dinçer, Rector of Yaşar University, who also expressed that everyone involved is quite proud of being a member of the European University Association.
